Anyone notice that, as you get older, time passes more quickly. Used to be time passed one day at a time. Lately it seems it passes one week at a time. And with retirement and no job to truck off to, I have to look at the calendar to know if it is Wednesday or Saturday.

The very early Memorial Day has me all discomboobled. Seems like it should be June.
lol, yea, that does seem so very true...

Reminds me of article read just last month, errrr... couple years ago about this topic: TIME GOES BY | The Speed of Time

ps: k'bear - actually, squirrel tastes much better than chicken; esp. w/ the gravy, green beans, and biscuits... YUM!

When did it become so wrong and politically incorrect to enjoy a fruitful lifestyle... I really don't get people some times.

Great article! And looks like a web site I want to bookmark seeing as how I'm on the shady side of 65. Thanks, ShadowCaver.

Default Too nice outside for c'puter time

It looks like the sweet weather has pulled everyone away from their c'puters. I guess that's a good thing.

Just discovered a Mulberry Bush, covered with berries. They appear ripe to me but am wondering if they should be black, like the blackberries rather than dark red. Don't know if the Blue Jays will let 'em get that far.

Hello y'all...Finally had a few minutes to play catch up on some of these threads. Yep, time does pass by quickly, to quickly at 'times'. I have been doing a lot of work outdoors and no time to spend here. Have a great weekend all. See y'all later.

There's a rainbow at the bird feeder today. We have Indigo Buntings, Cardinals, Blue Jays, Goldfinch, Purple Finch, Rosebreasted Grosbeaks, Red-winged blackbirds, brown-headed cow birds, andI red-headed woodpeckers. I bought a new seed mix and they seem to love it!

At the beginning of the hummingbird season, I had many come to my feeders. Now I see only 3 or 4 around. Same food, fresh and hung in the same positions. Wonder why they moved on????

Same thing happened here. We had regular visitors but haven't seen any since the tornado went through here two weeks ago.

I forgot to mention the mourning and turtle doves who also gather several times a day.
