You have my sincere best wishes, thoughts, and hopes being sent to your daughter-in-law, you, and all of your family.

With the strength and love via her own daughter, as shown in that song, she has much on her side.

CAT scan revealed four new tumors in her brain. Original lung cancer has enlarged and become more active. Please, people, I beg of you. Throw your cigarettes away. It is not worth the pain you will endure or what your family will go through.

I've never known it to be this cold. Of course, I'm only twenty years old

Nu2Pomona...I can't begin to adequately express how sorry it is to hear about your DIL's battle with this serious health issue. I can only say that I pray for her and all of her family.

I'm so sorry.

I'm almost 3 years quit but who knows if I quit in time. I hope so.

Cancer is indeed a terrible thing. I have experienced so much of it in 2009 with family members and such. I lost my mother in September to breat cancer that had spread through her chest cavity. It was not a pleasant thing to watch. I feel for you.

Nu2pomona....I do hope and pray for better health for your DIL. And that her family is finding the strength they must need as they all go through this very trying time. Actually, prayers for all of you.

Smile Missouri Conservationist

Just received the January 2010 issue of Missouri Conservationist. What a wonderful magazine. AND when so few things in life are free, it IS free to Missouri households.

This month's issue features a story on the Three Gems of southeast Missouri, Pickle Springs, the Castor River Shut-Ins and Hickory Canyons. Wonderful word pictures and photographs.

If you don't already get this magazine, you can subscribe online at Missouri Department of Conservation | Magazine Subscriptions - Online (http://www.missouriconservation.org/15287 - broken link)
