Hello!

I understand this may be a very touchy subject for some people. I hope that everyone will be willing to objectively answer the questions as opposed to turning it into a political conversation, and I apologize if this offends anybody.

---

To keep it short and to the point, I love tobacco. I'm looking to move to a place where smoking is not banned in bars, restaurants, bowling alleys, etc., and, in fact, for a place where smoking is allowed in as many places as possible.

I'm currently looking at Jefferson County, south of Arnold (which has a partial ban), as it seems there are many places which do allow smoking there. Imperial, Barnhart, Pevely, Herculaneum, Festus, and that whole area.

But I'm curious if there aren't other options. I'm hoping for safe area with a lower crime rate, fast food and grocery shopping (or a target/walmart/etc) within a 10-15 minute drive, and ideally cheap house prices, in a location which doesn't have an indoor smoking ban, and is least likely to have one in the future.

If anyone has any suggestions of any places which might best fulfill the above, I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know!

Thankfully, about all of Missouri is going no-smoking indoors. I think Springfield was the first. The bars there found that it increased business. Most of the small towns in SW Mo. are smoke free too.
