I have inheirted a small 2 bedroom home near Lambert Field and need some good advice on finding tenants. As I am new to this, I really am unsure. I've had the house remodeled and is very cute. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, brick, wood floors, fenced yard and garage. It would be perfect for someone working near the area or who needed quick acess to Hwy 7o. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to put a sign in the front yard and really don't know the neighbors..

You can place a free ad here on this site with a full description of your house with all of the details someone would need to know about renting the property. Good luck!

Why don't you want to put a sign up? That's a great way to find tenants. Just make sure you run a credit check and have a standard lease written up.

I was using a company in Springfield until about 8 months ago when I found that they were raising the rent on all of my properties $50-$150. I wont mention their name on CD but I will caution you on using these companies. If you have just the one property, they would probably be fine. They do a great job picking people but I just hired a part time property manager to eliminate all of the bs. Good luck!

How about posting in Craigslist.com as well. Is there a power plant or industrial plant around that you can advertise your renting a place.
