STOLE WATCHES AND DIAMONDS

St. Joseph, Mo. Oct. 26---Lee Cahn, son of well known people in this city, a traveling salesman for Doniphan & Co. candy manufacturers, was arrested here today and a large amount of plunder found in his room that had been stolen from residences and business houses in Wichita, Kansas.
Cahn, the police say, has as accomplices, Sam Harris, arrested at Fort Scott, and an unknown woman. Most of the stolen goods were diamonds and watches. An officer took Cahn to Wichita tonight.

NUN CATCHES BURGLAR IN INDEPENDENCE MISSOURI

August 13, 2009--Sisters Catarina and Connie spotted a young man with a rifle walking through a field near the St. Francis Convent. They thought he was an illegal hunter and went to confront him. He dropped the gun but after a few questions he turned and ran.
Despite wearing flip-flops and a habit, Sister Catarina gave chase while Sister Connie called police. Sister Catarina caught up with him and asked him to stay put, but he ran into a wooded area.
Canine teams arrived and with the nun's help, they found and caught Corey D Anderson. Police believe the 17-year-old broke into two houses in the area, stealing a gun from one of them. The two nuns say they hope the teen has learned the lesson thou shalt not steal.

I was watching that show called Storm Chasers the other day when they were following a tornado in Kansas. It crossed the river into Missouri and one of the guys said, " Why did it have to go into Missouri ? The only good things that came out of Missouri were horse thieves and murderers."
I wonder if he has been reading this thread ?
