Would like to move to Chesterfield area wanted to knw if there is a problem for school aged children who are interracial? My children are Italian and Peruvian , have olive skin and look hispanic. My daughter has a slight issue because when we had visited she said that everyone looked like me, but reassured her it was ok. Any thoughts for future move?

Missouri is literally the final frontier. I still want to retire on a farm their. In fact I signed up for this board, because I love Missouri but I can smell the politicians from here in Houston.
The rest of the world has been globalized for about a decade and the retired folks in Missouri are not going to change their views. Besides theirs bigotry going on everywhere else in the world.

You must be talking about a different Missouri. I have lived here for almost 12 years. The Kansas City area. I have interracial couples in my church and in my neighborhood, Blacks, Hispanics, Whites and interracials all living in harmony. My church would be considered pretty conservative, but the mixed couples who attend there aren't new- been there for years. As for my neighborhood, I live in Belton, a new suburb of KC, still rural, but interracial couples abound and we all get along great, look out for each other, take care of each others houses when someones on vacation, etc.

I have no idea what you all talking about. This is a fantastic warm, and friendly place to live with lots of foreigners who work for Sprint. Wow, actually, now that I think about it, most of the people we interact with on a regualr basis aren't white americans (if there is such a thing)

I can't speak to St. Louis, never been there, but KC is awesome!
