actually,for thistles, I prefer Stinger.

Expensive, but works great on thistles and it is safe as there are no grazing restrictions for either beef cattle or even dairy cattle.

It doesn't affect grasses growing in the pastures.

If I start trying to manage the many different types of weeds and grasses on our little three acres I will have to give up eating and sleeping. AND, should I happen to erradicate them, I would be left with dirt. So, In the 10,000 square feet of space inside our dog yard I do my best to pluck quack grass, use weed and feed the recommended three times a year, dig dandelions and curse at the moles. It's the best I can do. The rest we mow, and mow, and mow. From afar, it looks like a lush, healthy lawn. Up close, the truth is evident. When I think about it, it's a lot like life, isn't it?

Default Need help

We visited Lake of OZ area last weekend, south of the Lake, near Edwards.
Absolutely loved it! We looked at property and wandered through alot of countryside. We kept picking up some kind of 'stickers' and I don't know how to identify them
They were little triangle shapes, about 1/4" on a side. Most of them were green, a few were brown. They stuck to our clothes, but were easy to flick off. What were they?

Thank you for your help.
