I'd do boxing first just to see if the kid likes the sport. Outside of the truly gifted, it's a very difficult craft to master. Most people can be decent grapplers/wrestlers if they trained hard enough and were committed. If your kid is inclined to box, it'll be apparent right away. If not, you can move on without much time wasted.
However, if the kid likes both, I'd train boxing first and then incorporate wrestling later. Boxing is simply harder to learn for most so it's probably best to learn it first. The conditioning, footwork, head movement and punching skills from boxing are almost underrated in today's world.
