Dana White wants to give him a rematch with Khabib. There is NO REASON for a rematch. He lost and it wasn't even close. If he wants a rematch he has to start from the bottom again. Khabib is right. Conor needs to win 10 fights in a row to get a rematch against Khabib. If the UFC wants to give Conor a rematch now then Khabib should just leave the company and go somewhere else.

What anyone deserves is irrelevant to Dana White. What makes the company the most money is all he cares about. As the president of the Ufc, I can't fault that. He didn't deserve the last shot he got either, but he still jumped over Tony Ferguson after a two year layoff.

My question though. Who deserves it more? Obviously Ferguson, but that fight is happening first if the Mma Gods are kind this time. I have heard a lot of rumblings about Gaethje, but his resume isn't that impressive to me. If McGregor beats Cowboy, both will have beaten the same guy in their most recent fight. Other than that, he's beaten James Vick and a past his prime Edson Barbosa. He lost to both Poirier and Alvarez. Say what you will about McGregor, he outclassed both of those guys. Personally, I think McGregor should have come back to a Poirier rematch if he wanted to truly "earn" a title shot.

Not sure why Conor wants to fight at all. Just retire with the Mayweather money.

Maybe create his own MMA fight team focusing on European talent and shop them to Bellator and UFC.

He will probably lose the rematch with Khabib. If he comes back he should just focus on super-fights.

Try to get GSP, Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, Uriah Faber

The UFC is about entertainment & money, first. Connor brings in the most $$$$$.

He claimed $50,000,000 payout vs. Khabib and thinks he'll make $80,000,000 after Cerrone. If he wins, he's def. going to make everyone a lot of money in the immediate rematch with Khabib.
