5-time World's Strongest Man title winner Mariusz Pudzianowski will be making his MMA debut on December 11 in Poland vs. boxer Marcin Najman (13-4, against weak competition). Pudzianowski is interesting in that he is known for quickness and good endurance compared to other strongman competitors, it is said that he's been training some kick boxing during his career and that he is training very seriously for this fight, even though he only has two months to train. He said that he wants to come in at 275 lbs for the fight.

Default Word of advice

for Najman. Punch and run. Punch and run because your opponent is a beast. If he touches you, I feel this guy could literally decapitate you.

With that being said, Pudzianowski has no business fighting MMA. Once he fights someone of knowledge, he will get smoked. Though, I am interested to see how far he goes with this venture.

He's big like Bob Sapp, but may not have the staying power. Strategy should be stick and run. I predict he'll gas in the second round (if he doesn't tag the smaller guy first). If the smaller guy has good BJJ, he should then take him. Just look at how Fedor took down the japanese giant about a year ago.

he is in no way like bob sapp, bob sap is pure size, no brains, no athleticism, no speed. marius is very athletic, and very fast, and stronger all around the sapp while not nearly as big.

japanese giant? you mean the techno giant who happens to be from korea?
again, totally different type fighter, IF he has any real trainer, he is an athlete of a GSP caliber, he could be a force in the little shows.

Does the organization that he will be fighting in test for steroids. I am fairly certain that I could get a positive off of his breath.

Here is Pudzianowski's boxing training video:

Looks pretty bad, maybe he needs a different trainer. I hope his ground game is better, that's where he could do some damage with his strength.

he sure holds his breath a lot while punching, and he is so big he cant get straight on anything. holding his breath is going to gas him in about 1 minute, just look at his focus mit work, he is WORN OUT! hell i think his trainer is holding his breath also lol.

Pudz was/is a great strength athlete. But if he ever gets in the ring with a competent heavyweight, he'll get smoked.

He is in the wrong market, if he were to go to Japan, he would make a killing, they love the "giants" over there

I agree, he seems more like Bob Sapp than anything, who is a freaking ICON in Asia, he has no hope in any legitimate USA cage, other than as a freak show, who would get exposed by Tank Abbot
