This is what Chuck Liddell would look like if he fought in pro boxing, except that he wouldn't last this long

i'm not able to view the video at work, but it got me thinking...has chuck ever expressed an interest in fighting in pro boxing match??

don't answer that...it's a rhetorical question.

and just to play devil's advocate, how would that boxer fare in an MMA bout with Chuck?? you can answer that if you like...

the fight video is pure troll, a little bit over weight guy with a mohawk fighting a woman in a boxing match.
just dumb, dont even waste your time.

and ONCE AGAIN, chuck IS NOT A BOXER NOR HAS HE CLAIMED TO BE. he is a wrestler who learned how to hit hard.

I'm not sure what the boxing guy is all about.Every boxer that entered the UFC during the original format got their ass handed to them.Does anyone think GSP couldn't drive Floyd Mayweather straight into the cage and have his way with him?The only way FM wins against a GSP or Silva is to slip a KO punch through before they have a double leg takedown put on them 30 seconds into the bout.

I personally like boxing also, but why does someone here have a permanent penile erection for dissing MMA?Why not just go watch boxing?Kind of sad really.

lifertexan, here is a prime example of a modern day boxer in an mma fight.

botha is a WORLD HEAVY WEIGHT BOXING CHAMPION and weighed in about 100 lbs heavier then his opponent in this fight.

YouTube - Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Francois Botha

Interesting how Botha tried to use the MMA techniques of the guard and kicking from the ground.I mean,if boxing is the be all and end all, then why is a world champion boxer having to use MMA techniques to defend himself against a much smaller guy?

mma implies you'll be using multiple martial arts

otherwise they should call it optional martial arts. or in matt hugh's case, wrestling and punching arts.

mma is MIXED martial arts, so if he used his wrestling to not get taken down, thats 1. then he used his strikes both kicks and punches so he used kickboxing, so thats 2. so he took his wrestling and kickboxing and MIXED the 2 of them together.

nuff said, good night now, move along and troll another forum.
