figured it's not too late to open up a thread to discuss this episode of The Ultimate Fighter...

up until tonight, it's been somewhat lackluster compared to seasons in the past, but appearantly tonight's episode will have some bang!

i honestly don't have any stand out fighters to be watching, anyone else have any insight on some of the fighters with potential??

and please keep spoilers out...thanks!

you should get satellite.

that knee was not enough for the over actor to be stunned like that. i love how he yelled at the guy "GET UP" on the way out of the cage.

The knee did not look like it landed hard from the angles I saw. But,it only takes the outside corner of the knee making contact on the forehead to stun you.One thing I've learned from watching all the instant replays in the NFL is that you never really know unless you get the proper angle. It was illegal though.Whether or not it really landed flush would not be an issue if the guy hadn't thrown it to begin with.He was clearly aiming for the head.

i agree he was aiming for the head, and i know all to well what a knee can do. i dont think it should have ended the fight but then i didnt take the knee. while aiming for the yes i also believe he thought (just like dana) he was standing up and just miss timed it. a split second later and that guys knee is off the mat and it is legal and he wins the fight.

the fight was a decent fight and should not have ended on that bs.

about last night...

first off, is it possible that Tito is affraid to fight Chuck, and is faking the seriousness of this neck injury?

i'm REALLY wanting to give Tito the benefit of the doubt here, i just can't see risking the rest of your active life over a fight...

dana's point of view is, if Tito knew how serious this injury was, then he should have never signed up to take this fight, and commit himself to this season of TUF...i can't really argue with that.

i don't 100% agree with how Dana handled the situation, although, it's TV, and i'm sure some editing was involved to create some drama.

i was pleased that Tito came back to the house to say farewell to his fighters, and it looks as though the fighters sincerely liked and appreciated Tito as a coach.

with all that being said, i can't help but think that Tito is fighting some serious demons in his head...he isn't the same guy as the Tito dominating the LHW division years ago.

as a fighter, i would say he's done. as a coach, i think he's gotta be one of the best around...

tito had neck surgery, i have actually seen the video of the surgery. no faking it or the seriousness.

i think tito should have been allowed to finish the season, it would not be the 1st time coaches didnt fight.
