Happy Mardi Gras from Mobile. Mobile county's Mardi Gras kicked off today. The first parade was held on Daulphin Island.

Dauphin Island has parades now? WoW.. must be a pretty short parade

Take some pics Kevin.. I would love to see the floats again. I keep saying I am going to come down one year to see it again.

I know Fairhope has parades now too.

Dolphin Island has two parades. The second parade is next Saturday. I will not make it down there.

The GMAC Bowl parade was tonight downtown. It seemed longer than I remember it being in the past.

If I think about it, I will make pictures when They really start rolling and I get back downtown.

I thought the Mobile Mardi Gras was in late February... closer to the time that NO holds theirs. So, maybe this is only the Dauphin Island Mardi Gras?

Yeah Fat Tuesday is always the day before Ash Wed. Ash Wed is 40 Days before Easter.

I always get Daulphin Island and Dolphin Street mixed up. Too many different spellings.
