I want to see Smashburger, Which Wich Superior Sandwiches, Corner Bakery Cafe, Texas De Brazil, Red Robin Burger, Cantina Laredo or Chuy's and Kona Grille come to Mobile, and McGowin Oark has plenty of room! Norstrom Rack and Trader Joe's would be awesome too

Cool thanks! Expected something way different, but it's something I could see myself grabbing if I was out that way.

Hickory Tavern, a chain from the Carolinas, is opening in McGowin Park, according to this newly updated site map:

Hickory Tavern is next to Macy's at Brookwood in Birmingham, and it is packed seven days a week. I don't know what they have going on but it is impressive. Do look forward to this.

Ulta Cosmetics will open its third South Alabama location at Westwood Plaza in spring 2017.
From the looks of the updated map several posts up, Bun-D will be in the space to the left of the now-former Uncle Maddios.
According to their website, they only have 10 locations...mostly in the UK. Mobile would be the first United States location.

The sad thing is that Maddio's will probably stay vacant for now, especially if they're locked into a lease. Could be another year or two unless someone else is begging for the space. Otherwise, the owners will likely be on the hook for the rent.

Ulta is one of the newer and more visible tenants of Springdale. Could they bolt any time soon given the mass departures? Their Westwood location is likely slated to fill the vacant slot between PetSmart and Office Max.

Hickory Tavern is awesome news! I think it's even better than the BJs that is going in on the former Cheddars' site.

Bun-D's was going downtown at one point on Royal St.. I wonder if that's a no-go now or they're opening 2 locations.

Wonder if they were looking at taking over the Pita Pits location? Rooster's is going in there, but it seems like that could have been a good spot for them too

They were going into the old Pincus Building on the SE corner of Royal/Dauphin where the old Compass Bank was located. Hoping it's 2 locations
