Isn't that one of their larger stores? The ones I've seen here seem to be smaller than that.

That area seems to be thriving. A brand new Saltgrass steakhouse just opened up there as well.

That may just be a stock photo. I'm still holding out for a Trader Joe's in Mobile, but Aldi seems to give it a run for its money: https://onmilwaukee.com/living/artic...raderjoes.html

Walmart could use some more competition on the lower end. The stores have gotten so bad here I rarely go there anymore unless I absolutely have to.

I agree, but unfortunately a few of my culinary staples are only available at Wal-Mart. Sometimes, I end up going to Costco, Target, and Wal-Mart before I can get everything I need.

What culinary staples can you only get at walmart?

Arnold Organic bread, Butterball Turkey sausage, Teriyaki Salmon filets, and Old El Paso Soft Taco Bake are a few of the items that Costco and Target do not stock.

Walmart is the source of "everything else" that I like to buy as cheaply as possible when quality is not an issue to me. I tend to get my meats from Publix and Rouses, and gravitate to whatever they have on sale.

Aldi's prices are cheap enough that they can challenge Walmart and offer better quality items through their labels.

Ah ok. We make our on bread/tortillas, and not a fan of salmon so that makes sense that I wouldn't notice that. I do love some turkey sausage though
