It's going to be a Murphy Express Gas station...much like the one at the corner of Springdale and Emogene.

I thought Murphy gas stations only build next to Wal-Mart ? Welp I was hoping for something more exciting.

They dissolved that partnership a few years back. Some of the newer Walmarts like the markets on N. University and Government Blvd have Walmart gas stations instead.

Since it was a moot point here in Alabama, one of the lost benefits was the ability to save per gallon on Walmart gift and credit cards...you could only get a statement credit since discounting of gas wasn't allowed...

Mobile definitely needs one of these!
Pie Five is good, but this will be better than Uncle Maddio's which had potential, but was poorly run.

We'll certainly give them a try. I am in mourning about Grimaldi's closing, so will be looking for a new pizza place.

I still think the Grimaldi's space would be good for another fast casual pizza place...either a Blaze or Pieology. Cordova mall put a Pieology in an outfacing space near one of their entrances.

While I never had the chance to try them, I think they may have been overkill for the mall in it's current state. Even past posts saying that PF Chang's has been "dead" means the mall is aiming too high and needs to put more reasonably priced options. Chains like these (and others) are good because they cater to the dine in crowd and can be a quicker and more affordable option for shoppers and people on the go.

Poke Luau is opening in the Pinebrook shopping center. Looks like it's a Poke Bowl joint and might have sushi burritos as well. There are 2-3 other locations in Cali and Utah, but I'm not sure if they are owned by the same folks.
