Hopefully the Mobile/Baldwin team pull this off. There has been a lot of manufacturing job announcements for the area. 19 Airbus supplier companies coming to Brookly, Wal-Mart's 4th largest distribution center, Amazon, and now hopefully Toyota/Mazda all within a year. Hopefully the state doesn't drop the ball. Baldwin has a 3000 acre certified mega site ! AM/NS Calvert in north Mobile county is currently producing steel for auto plants and it wouldn't be that far from the north Baldwin mega site. The site is within close proximity to rail road and interstate access along with the port of Mobile.

This must be the same site they were hoping Hybrid Kinetic (HK) would build a plant on? For some reason it didn't work out.

Three southern states are finalist for the new Mazda and Toyota plant. Baldwin has a super mega site that only a half mile from I-65,Port of Mobile AM/NS which currently makes steel for auto plants, has utility access, rail road access and the work force from the Mobile,Baldwin and Pensacola areas to make it happen.

Both Mobile and Baldwin have been on a roll lately with several economic developments and announcements.
