In regards to McGregor Springs, I am not sure.

  • Engineering on the new Airport/McGregor Culver's is progressing
  • Engineering is proceeding with "Project Stone" at Rangline/I-10 - which is the rumored Amazon distribution center (looks to be around 180k sq ft)
  • Permitting has re-commenced on "McGregor Springs" in Spring Hill - which is a mixed use development near Springhill Ave and McGregor https://www.instagram.com/p/BlZEDwFHJd3/

I personally don't think that Project Stone will be an Amazon Distribution center. The whole timeline of it coming to baldwin county happened after Project Stone began (progress on the project was still ongoing the entire time), I think the new amazon distribution center will actually be in the new South Alabama Logistics Park. As that would make the best sense as to why they dipped on Baldwin County because they got wind of the project. Why buy and maintain property when you can lease it. Also the new distribution center would be right across the interstate (literally lol) from the regional distribution center. I have no idea what company is behind project stone. It would be interesting if it was say Home Depot or Target, as I don't they have a regional center along the gulf coast or Alabama and I'm willing to bet they import a lot of their goods

Also this has been appearing often on Bidclerk, Unfortunately I get very limited information, it is in Theodore, not quite where our project stone is but the maps tend to be off, It is a site work project which means a warehouse is being built it is about 120k Sq feet. This might or might not be project stone, if it is then we know the area, 120k sq ft. Which seems smaller than what the site plans for project stone has. It might be the Coca Cola facility but I don't think it is because the mystery warehouse project contracts have all been conceptual and I imagine Coca Cola is past the Concept phase. So this could very well be a new mystery contender in our midst.

Look's like old Toys R Us across from Bel Aire is getting a make over. New PUD came out for some changes to the lot, whoever is it is also bought the lot behind it and is doing something with it, curious as to what it will be

Also Deuce Drone says they will begin test trials by the end year. Deuce Drone is a startup company in Mobile that aims to greatly reduce the cost of last mile shipping by using drones, this will allow local companies to compete with the likes of Amazon

Looks like the storage facility is going to add a bunch of enclosed RV and boat storage units.

If this lottery bill is approved the Theodore area will gain a casino. That area will change significantly look at Atmore.
The Creeks also own the Historic original Press Register building. Maybe that building may become a casino ?

Where would Alabama have casinos?

Four would be at the state’s greyhound tracks: the Birmingham Race Course, Victoryland in Macon County, Greenetrack in Greene County, and the Mobile greyhound
