We have neighbors in FL from CA and the NE who don't like us and we don't like them..I like people who are friendly but not the overbearing loudmouth types who don't respect the southern history, culture, food, religion, etc...some of these people are beginning to make us quite sick...LOL

Mobile county would not be the place for you unless it's the Citronelle area. Baldwin would be much better its primarily Republican, and much more likely to align with your political views. I live in West Mobile and my neighborhood is actually becoming pretty diverse. I prefer it that way, but to each his own.

Thank you for your opinion about Baldwin county.

Many of us think that "diversity" is and/or could be over-rated. We've invested in a few so-called "diverse and up-coming areas" which turned into sociocultural, political, economic and educational cesspools....all of course in the name of "diversity".

Diversity of thought, and solutions are our essential desired positions. Nowhere is perfect of course.

See they say all that, but there are a vast amount of conservative people in midtown and a massive number of liberals in the suburban areas of west Mobile. They’re just suggesting you live in the absolute middle of nowhere places of this area, but the political opinions of my neighbors has never once come up in a conversation with them. Mobile county votes Republican in every election. And national politics rarely ever comes up from the city government which runs non partisan. Baldwin county’s thought system is to vote down a tax increase which would better fund their schools, when most people that move there from Mobile county claim it’s for the schools. The biggest difference is that Mobile county’s black population is 35% whereas Baldwin county’s is 7.5%. That plays into conservative or liberal voting patterns of each county far more than anything else. But like I said, all of my black friends are conservative, so it’s more nuanced than I believe most people think.

Well, that explains that. Thx

Mobile and Baldwin Counties took a massive hit in July Housing Markets: Selling 509 and 790 houses respectively with a hit of 23.57% and 25.68%.

Home Prices barely fell Month of Month as well

Although Mobile's new Construction home sales went up from 42 to 52 year over year. Baldwin County took a hit from 201 to 156 year over year, Mobile County is still on pace to have its best performance on new construction in the records since just before the 2008 housing market crash

Interest rates going from about 2% to near 6% has an effect.
