Just wanted to be sure everyone is OK. I didn't see much on the news up here in N. AL about Mobile other than the old causeway flooded.

Nah, nothing much to it really. The usual area downtown flooded, like Water Street. I think there was a little flooding also in Prichard and Saraland, but nothing major. There were a few tornadoes in Baldwin County.

I've got my eye on "Ike" now.

My DS had no problems in Baldwin county either. Glad you all are OK.

I was hoping we would be safe from "Ike" but it looks like we're back in the cone.

Default We had a LOT of Street Flooding

We had quite a bit of street flooding where we are in Midtown, but we always do. The houses are all up on piers so none of us were worried, but it got slightly higher than I've ever seen it. One of the neighbors gave the kids rides on his kayak. Non-SUVs would have stalled in it. The city came and cleaned out our drains so maybe we won't see that again!
