UPDATE:

I had my interview with the reps from steel and stainless. When I asked where I would be going, they told me they didn't know yet. They said both steel and stainless are still hiring. They said that there are about 1000 people hired for steel and about 200 for stainless as of now.

Did they give you a timetable? No AIDT training? You are going to miss out on all the fun.

They said that they would contact me in about two weeks. No mention of AIDT training or anything else. I was expecting a meeting with AIDT people but they were from steel and stainless.

Does anyone know if you go in as electrical maintenance, do you only do electrical maintenance or do you have to assist with large mechanical maintenance jobs like changing a gearbox?

What I understood if you were hired in for electrical mintenance then you wouldn't have to do the AIDT thing. So, maybe you would only do electrcal.I am not 100% sure though.

my husband is currently waiting to be called for the 3rd interview. How long after the 'training' does it take to be contacted?
