can anyone tell me about the weather in Semmes? how hot does it get in the summer, and are there many T-storms? how about tornadoes? also, is this town in a flood zone? thank you!

Hot and humid during the summer. Plenty of "pop up" thunderstorms during spring and summer, it can be perfect weather and then clouds and lightening seem to come out of nowhere. This is caused by a combo of mid-day heat and the moisture from the gulf. Not many tornadoes compared to north AL, but they can occur.

No flood zone that I'm aware of. Hurricanes can happen, but if you live in a well built house they're not much to worry about, just an inconvenience.

Semmes is a far northwestern suburb so you don`t have to worry about flooding. Semmes has more lightning strikes than any area in Mobile though.
