Minstrelsy at its finest, but it is still hilarious in a sad way.

We went to see what all of the fuss was about 2 or 3 days after it being on the news. The night we went - there was about 100-150 people gathered around the tree, and we were like a drop of vanilla in a big bowl of chocolate pudding lol. Never saw the shadow that was supposed to look like a lephrechun, but it was fun nonetheless.

"Mintrelsey at it`s finest" ?? Thats pretty offensive and harsh even though we both know that it was all fun and jokes but you should have chosen your words more wisely !!! They are black people not black faces.

I didn't mean to be offensive, that certainly wasn't my intention. It just seemed like the news crew picked the silliest people they could for the story to make them look like fools. For the record, I'm black, so maybe that's me putting my tinfoil hat on, but that's neither here or there.

However, I do admit that I did get a chuckle out of the video, bcause it is funny.

It made me laugh, and yet ashamed of my hometown at the same time. I think someone is/was selling t-shirts online related to this!
