Another reason to watch Fox instead of CNN or MSNBC. Don't know that I've even heard NO mentioned on Fox but have seen them several times broadcasting from Bama.

CNN seems to be staying in Grand Isle and MSNBC is in Venice, and both are playing the same old videos over and over.

Just came back from Orange Beach. Sand is white, beach is pristine. Kids had a good time!

Drove back from Orange Beach yesterday. They clean the sand constantly. There were crews cleaning up tar balls in a couple of places near us almost the entire 5 days we were there. I wouldn't go in the water...in fact, a boat operator dragging a boom called to a couple of swimmers in front of our condo to get out...but the sand is clean, the waves are rolling in, and it's beautiful. I had seen pictures of puddles of oil, but it's not like that at all. I never smelled any oil, diesel, kerosene or any other smell...but that was a bit wierd. Usually there's a salty ocean smell, a faint smell of something decaying, seaweed...but there was nothing.

"The containment system capturing oil from the Gulf of Mexico spill had to be removed Wednesday, leaving the gusher unchecked after a collision involving a robotic submarine, US officials said."
