There was a similarly mixed couple in Bozeman in the 1980s. No one ever said a word about it that I ever heard. I only know because I saw them fairly regularly at the Buttrey's shopping center. I do kinda regret that I never went up to 'em and said Hi, but I'm braver about that sort of thing in my old age.
