little more info please-Farming jobs are scarce as most farms are family run, same as ranching. Maybe during the harvest season?

I can't tell whether you expect to learn, and pay for it, or get paid during on-the-job training. Because if it is the latter, you have to revise your expectations. If you look around on this forum and the Wyoming forum, you'll see that it's hard for even seasoned ranch hands to find work, and nobody is going to pay a novice. They'll probably not even let you tag along without pay--much too dangerous work if you don't know what you're doing. On the other hand, if you want to experience life on a ranch, there are great dude ranches where they do actual cowboying, and you'll pay to learn and participate in the general ranch work. Those places provide great vacations, and you'll have fun and probably lose weight, too!

You just may be in for a treat, a lot of blisters, callouses, sore back issues, lack of sleep, being cold or way too hot, hungry, wet, and lots more.
It will either make a person or break a person much like oil work, mining, logging or commercial fishing. Ranching can be very hazardous and with very long hours. It seems to be thankless work with unspoken dangers and very little pay to compensate.
If you jump into a life of living and working with ranch animals you may be in for a tough but very rewarding experience.
Good luck to you. ~♥~
