Find a Cabela's and treat yourself to to some serious shopping!

Here is a good place to see the weather in Glendive

Glendive, Montana (59330) Conditions & Forecast : Weather Underground

As to Tire: It depends on what you are driving as to the tires you need, and what amount of time you spend on the roads. It also depends on your experience in driving on ice and snow. Remember, Glendive is not in a very populated area of the country.

I live a little south and west, where the weather is a little better than Glendive. I run studded snow tires in the winter. Have done so for 40 years. I carry a tow strap with me, and have pulled a lot of people out of snow banks, and snowdrifts over the years who tried to do it with all weather treads.

If you don't have snow tires, put a couple bags of sand in the back to help you keep the rear end down. I have seen it where you could not move even with studded snow tires with a rear wheel drive without some weight over the tires on flat land in town when it gets slick.

Another thing you will want to do sooner or later (if you haven't already) is to get a block heater installed in your vehicles so that you can plug in and prewarm the engine so it will start on those cold, cold mornings.

Got my bass clarinet ready, and I might pick up a trombone for a secondary instrument(for outdoor rah rah stuff). I'll see if I can fill in for a string bass with local music groups, or something. Blend with the musical styles present without forcing anything. Or maybe my teacher can find a second hand tenor sax for me, dunno. So, between cooking, music, and running/mountain biking, I shouldn't lack for things to do. I'm SO looking forward to this.
