Hey there,

was wondering if there is any food stores, Liquor store.. or any thing major in Eureka. I will be passing through there in two weeks to go camping at Koocanusa like. Will be coming from BC so really this is the only place once we get over the boarder for food and stuff. I cant really remember if there much there, even though ive been through there a couple of months ago to go snowboarding at Whitefish.

Please let me know. thanks alot

My grandparents happen to be from Eureka (a small Montana town just a few miles from the Canadian border). Yes, there are 2 grocery stores, a state liquor store, a couple motels, some cool tourist shops, a couple gas stations, a coffee kiosk. There is just one main street and that is where you'll find all their stores, churches, etc. There is even a health food store, a book store, and a bowling alley! =) But for fun, shopping, etc., we usually go your way when we're there, up in to Canada. But Eureka should be able to fulfill your basic needs! Have a great trip!

There is plenty in Eureka for basics, if more is needed it is a short trip to Whitefish or Kalispell where there is costco, target etc.

Nice, new, and expensive--two to three times more expensive than what you'd find in Whitefish and Kalispell.
