Our relatives in Great Falls all have Verizon and have strongly suggested that if we move to the area (Conrad) we should go with them too, as AT&T doesn't have the best coverage outside of the bigger cities. We currently have AT&T in Minot and would have no problem switching carriers as we aren't under contract right now, but Verizon's plans look to be so much more expensive than what we already have through AT&T!

Should my husband get the job he's interviewing for in Conrad he would do a lot of driving around the eastern part of the state, and he would get a company phone (Verizon, most likely). I, on the other hand, would be in Conrad and Great Falls most of the time and on the interstate in between. Does anyone know what the AT&T coverage is like in those places? Of course the map on AT&T's site says it has "best coverage," but that isn't always the case.

Thanks for your help!

I use AT&T and have no problem with getting service wherever I go in Montana. It was a better choice for me financially.

My wife has AT&T furnished by her employer. I have Verizon. She gets decent reception, but mine is better on Verizon.

is anyone on AT&T having problems with billing or customer service screwing you the way they used to? My Sister and several other ppl I know in the Bitterroot valley haven't had anything good to say about AT&T but it has been a while since they dropped them so I am wondering if their customer service has improved.
