It really depends on what part of Montana you want to rate or compare to. The peoples ways seem to be influenced by the neighboring states. Just like microclimate pockets, this state is so vast and varied that there are many cultural micro pockets.

Very simple. This is a completely worthless question to 99.99% of the people. In order to do comparisons of phsycological studies of people, or cultural differences, a person would have had to live in all four of the choices to vote on. You could not simply visit or drive through. I've lived in two. Montana and the Dakota's. They are not even close to being the same. Without living in the other 2, I can't vote and if I did, I would be guessing.

Missoula feels very similar to Oregon imo. But I'd say people in Great Falls might feel closer to Alberta/Saskatchewan, and people in Glasgow to the Dakotas. Maybe?
