FERGUS AND JUDITH BASIN. IN NORTH CENTRAL MONTANA... BLAINE...
CHOUTEAU...HILL...LIBERTY AND TOOLE.

* FROM 6 PM MDT THIS EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON

* A BROAD PACIFIC WEATHER SYSTEM WILL BRING UPSLOPE FLOW AND HIGH
AMOUNTS OF MOISTURE INTO CENTRAL MONTANA BEGINNING WEDNESDAY
EVENING. NEAR CONTINUOUS RAINFALL IS EXPECTED FROM THURSDAY
MORNING THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON WITH TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS
REACHING 2 INCHES OR MORE ALONG AND EAST OF LINE FROM TOOLE
COUNTY TO THE SOUTHERN BORDERS OF JUDITH BASIN AND FERGUS
COUNTIES. ADDITIONAL LIFT AROUND THE BEARS PAW MOUNTAINS MAY
PRODUCE TOTAL RAINFALL NEARING 3 INCHES THERE.

* EXPECTED IMPACTS. ALTHOUGH MOST CREEKS AND RIVERS IN THE WATCH
AREA ARE CURRENTLY BELOW FLOOD STAGE...THE SIGNIFICANT
PRECIPITATION MAY CAUSE SOME STREAMS TO QUICKLY RISE NEAR
BANKFULL...ESPECIALLY IN SMALLER CREEKS AND TRIBUTARIES. THE
SOUTHERN SLOPES OF THE BEARS PAW MAY ALSO SEE LOCALLY HEAVIER
RAINFALL AFFECTING THE ROCKY BOYS AND FORT BELKNAP RESERVATION
AREAS. FINALLY...DEBRIS FLOWS MAY BE POSSIBLE IN OR NEAR
LOCATIONS THAT HAVE WILDLAND FIRE BURN AREAS FROM LAST SUMMER.
