I currently living in Florida, but saw some positions open for a company called Vizn Energy in Columbia Falls. Wondered if anyone knew anything about this company? I'm interested in working for them but can't find a lot of information out about them. Thanks.

Pretty small company with only 1.3mm in revs last year according to Hoovers. They have some open positions but given the economy and gross revenues, it is a risky proposition. If you can fill the senior EE position, it may work out. The junior positions they have posted on the website likely pay a pittance considering the high cost of living for the area they chose to locate. There are NO zinc mines I'm aware of in Montana so why they located to Columbia Falls, I have no idea. Have you lived in northern climates before?

Do you have any idea what kind of salaries they pay?

This looks like a very speculative fledgling venture. It is a Delaware corp. 70% of its ownership is local investors. It might take off and or be bought out & be successful.

If you are a risk taker, it may be a good fit. Good luck.

Columbia Falls has a defunct aluminum plant which may or may not be a factor in its location.
