I would not trust that tower map.
Anaconda up on whats called "C" hill there is a Verizon and a new T Mobile tower. Granted the Verizon tower sucks for coverage.

Along the interstate corridors Verizon tends to be most reliable. In remote corners of the state small telephone cooperatives sometimes offer only available cell service & in other places there is no available cell signal at all. It is sometimes possible &/or necessary to purchase a repeater in order to receive a signal at a remote location.

We just returned from a trip to Dead Man's Basin. At the camp site there was no cell reception. (Verizon)
We rode the ATV to the top of the hill and got two bars. That was a crow-flies distance of about one hundred yards!
I remember stopping at a convenience store near Harlowton where at the gas pumps there was no cell service, but 50 feet in one direction had an adequate signal, but 50 feet in the other direction we had a roaming signal! At the time, we had Tracfones.
I live 40 miles from Roundup, and usually visit there once a month. I don't think I have ever tried to use my Verizon phone anywhere in the town.
