Hello folks!! I have a job offer in Monterey, and before I take the plunge I have a totally oddball question for those "in the know". How is the city tap water in the city of Monterey? Is it high in chlorine? Like I said oddball question, but I thought I would ask here before venturing across the country!

We've lived here 8+ years after moving from CO and haven't really noticed any major problems. We typically filter the water for drinking and use a softener for the shower. We also did that in other locations as well. So for us, water quality is really a non-issue. If you are going to worry about something in moving here from somehwere else, water quality isn't typically high on the list.
