Well,

First I wanted to thank every here for all the tips and help, especially Franklin!

We have just moved to the Monterey area from Colorado Springs. And we are fully enjoying being near the coast again. Of course we had to downsize our housing and knew this going in. But the location makes it worth it to us.

Unlike much of CA, Monterey, Carmel, Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach have not grown much over the past 10+ years. And we like that.

Also nature photography is one of my hobbies and there is no shortage of scenery out here. Anyway here are a few recent shots near home:

Derek

Thumbs up Great place

Thanks for the great pictures. I live in the Sacramento region, and Monterey is my all time favorite place to go. If somehow I were to win the lottery, I'd move there in a minute.

Congratulations on your move.
