Hey there Montrealers. I've done some research on Quebec, and I've learned that the city of Montreal usually celebrates the Fête Nationale du Québec with concerts in Parc Maisonneuve.

I've checked out Parc Maisonneuve on Google Maps, and the park appears to be filled with trees everywhere.

So where specifically in Parc Maisonneuve do they hold the concerts for the Fête Nationale du Québec? What section of the park do they set up the stage for these concerts?

Does anybody know for sure? Can anybody point the exact location to me?

I can't tell from the above pictures.

Thanks guys!

You'll notice 4 grassy fingers of open space just to the right and rear of the Olympic tower. the main band stand is where the 2 largest areas come together at the bottom. May not look that big but 200,000 people will be there for the Fete National.

While you are in the area Montreal's Insectarium and botanical gardens are within the park ,across the street the Biodome is that building next to the Olympic Stadium that looks like a big cockroach.

Thanks for your assistance, guys.

Now take a look at these two pics-

These are pics of the massive concert stage that U2 are using for their current world tour.

Do you guys think a performance stage that size would fit inside that same open space used for the Fete National concerts?

Do you think that massive stage would fit anywhere within Parc Maisonneuve?

The park will fit the people but maybe not in the same concentration as the stadium you are picturing. Will that stage fit in the park? maybe, its a big park..
Not sure if you are more interested in the venue or the event
The fete National is one big party that is played out all around the park even if you cant see the stage, a concert in a stadium is more of a show where people come and watch a particular band for a few hours then leave whereas the Fete National goes on most of a day and well into the night and sometimes the whole weekend..
