I am from West Virginia but now live in Utah. I am bringing the family back east to visit and figure why not check out WVU. My questions is, is there anything fun for a 4 year old and a wife that loves antiques and thrift stores?
Marilla Park has a great pool with a water slide that kids love,
but I don't know if it is appropriate for a 4 year old. Take a
side trip to Wheeling if you want to see terrific antiques
shops and go to "Short Market" Street. There are several
there and the selection is outstanding. Have fish sandwiches
at Colemans while you are there... they are a Wheeling tradition.
Take your wife to Coopers Rock while in Morgantown, and check
to see what activities are going on in the Riverfront area.
Take your child on the PRT--- It was fun when I was a little kid
