Morgantown has weathered the recession just about better than any place else, but it was not unscathed. Things did slow down, although they still moved forward. There is significant movement now (perhaps due to Marcellus activity and new research initiatives?). It appears things will be filling up now. The Center now has a hotel, a Krogers, and several busy eateries. It only looks to get better.

A nice read indeed. I think the success of Suncrest Town Center even in a down national economy does speak volumes about the relative stability of the Morgantown market. I am so happy to see that Ledo finally set up shop in Morgantown even if it is long after I graduated. They are a staple in the Washington DC area and a delicious one at that!

Morgantown has and is getting outstanding eateries, and they are usually busy even during the week.

The only restaurant in that entire complex I like is the little Mexican joint. Ledo's is bad...even by Morgantown standards (Morgantown has the worst pizza on the planet)...Jimmy John's is bland and overpriced...don't like Sonic...McDonald's tastes like cardboard...No.1 Buffet isn't No. 1.

Five Guys is ok, though.

I haven't tried that particular Mex place yet, but it is on my short list. The Mexican restaurant in Sabraton serves great food, and gives huge helpings, but they have the lights on too bright in the place. My favorite Mex restaurant is good ole Los Mariaches on Van Voorhis.
