Coming to Morgantown in two weeks for a tour of WVU, which hotel would you recommend. Thanks in advance.

Do you want the best hotel, or somewhere cheap?

Only staying one night so I don't need a pricey hotel but I also do not want to have to worry about bedbugs LOL. I guess where most parents stay when they visit their kids. Thanks

Very nice hotel... a little on the pricey side = Morgantown, WV Hotel ? The Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown , West Virginia

Historic downtown hotel... in walking distance to all sorts of things = Morgantown West Virginia hotels, Clarion Hotel near West Virginia University, Morgantown WV

One of the newer hotels... but it is not particularly close to the downtown area = SpringHill Suites Morgantown

All three are nice, clean hotels.

Microtel in Westover. 5 mins to downtown, on the interstate, cheap if no WVU events.

Also remember, our University is our state's comprehensive Land Grant doctoral level school, with a world class faculty and great resources. We're also a relatively short hop from New Jersey (around 6 hours), and have a large and active alumni group in that region.

If you stay at the Waterfont Place you will be right at the WVU visitor center where the tour starts off.
It's pricier but I find the parking deck, view of the river and easy walk to downtown worth it.
