With the proper infrastructure Morgantown would grow even faster, and all of WV would benefit. Too bad at the statehouse they are only interested in funding their useless pet pork barrel projects.

I looked up one estimate. Star City to Cheat Lake came out 12.4 miles and 21 minutes.

Right on. I'm sorry for that jab at Huntington. That was excessive by all standards, though I stand by my comments about sidewalks needing to be wider (or separated by guardrails) along busy busy roads.

It was but nobody is blaming you. This all forum is extremely hostile to Morgantown and certain posters bash it every chance they get. The atmosphere here is not your fault.

Only if you drive thru town. Via interstate it's about.... what's the speed limit again?

The Morgantown subforum of the WV forum is known to be extremely hostile to Morgantown. The regular WV forum is known to be extremely hostile to Morgantown and keeps a special cache of roads that it won't share with morgantown because it feels as though Morgantown is a meanie.

Those internet "estimates" use the roads via closest distance, not the Interstates. 12.4 miles via Interstate at 70 miles per hour would actually be around 11 minutes.

You aren't making any sense at all. Tell your doctor to up the meds.

Thus providing fine evidence to Gustavo's claim.

Actually, I'd suggest reducing the meds, but that'd probably be taken as hostile too :-)
