The wife and I are thinking of moving to WV in the next few years, don't know where yet but I think the Morgantown area looks pretty good. I wonder though; are there places to live in the Morgantown area that are in firearm discharge allowed zones? I can shoot on my land here in Maine and I don't want to have to start going to some public range once we move if I can help it. Thanks.
You wouldn't be able to discharge a firearm within the city limits except at an authorized range, but if you live outside the city limits and are not near other houses, you should be okay. Technically, you can't discharge a firearm in West Virginia closer than 500 feet from a residential structure but using common sense in the country should present no problems.
