Developments at WVU Health Sciences are happening at a rapid pace. The School of Dentistry is moving it's practice clinics from the Medical Campus to the Towne Center in beautiful new buildings, which will allow for a 20% increase in the number of patients seen per day and will free up space on the campus for other needs. The $5 million cost of the project will be paid entirely with private funds... no state money involved.

Two things.

First, I'm glad the School of Dentistry will have more room. However, I'm more excited about the new building in the works. This move out to Suncrest Towne Centre is only temporary, as the School is planning a new facility between the PRT Station and HSC.

Second, WVUH picked an interesting spot to relocate the Rosenbaum Family House and the Development Center. It's going in a four-story facility at the bottom of Law School Hill where Tent City is during football games.

Yes, it's planned that the dentistry folks will be in Suncrest for 10 years. When they complete the new school at Health Sciences, it will be an amazing complex. It's all positive with one exception. Considering the Law School expansion tailgating space will become more scarce in the area of the stadium.
