I'm pretty sure you're talking about where the new Falling Run project will be constructed. The University owns that and plans to develop it.

The downtown campus is bursting at the seams, and really needs to develop the space they have available. Since The University owns that land, and it is adjacent to the Downtown Campus, it will not go unused long. Currently they are spending hundreds of millions of dollars on Evansdale construction and rennovations. They can't do everything at once, but I'm sure this is high on the priorities list.

You'll start to see some work after the semester ends. There are currently at least ten properties on Stewart, College, and Outlook Sts. that are slated for demolition. They'll tear some brush down at that time as well to help beautify the area.
