So you say you respect us after you make the negative comments about MU in your previous posts?

You were the original hijacker of this thread and we are still waiting for your facts to back up your claims.

I just stated facts. They were inherently negative. It is like saying 30 million people died in the Soviet Gulags. Is that negative? Perhaps to some people.

Also it was a passing comment. It was a comment on why such a small donation is a big deal. Kinda like commenting on a cloud blocking the sun, but mention it is still a nice day. That one dark cloud is rather irrelevant.

You are the ones focusing on the cloud.

I don't know, Silk. When we were in Lubbock last Fall, we went to a pre-game party at
a couple's place outside of town. They seemed to be doing very well, so maybe it was
them? There's a lot of money in Texas, so I would think an ambitions person would do
just fine there.

I don't know. That seems like a lot of money to me for somebody to be opening up
their checkbook for that amount of money. Not everybody is a multi millionaire.
The school is on track to reach their $3/4 billion donation goal for the State of Minds
campaign ahead of time due to generous donations like this one.

I could not afford to make a donation anywhere close to that amount. How much
did you give last year?

The post has absolutely nothing to do with Marshall. It is about a generous couple who donated $1/4 million dollars to West Virgnia.

Again, no it was a passing comment on the subject of the donation.

For instance imagine if I said, "at 10:30 on a sunny day the person brought in the donation while wearing a white suit with a small coffee stain, and the donation was gladly accepted." The focus is the donation anything is trivial. No, imagine if the person who sold him the white suit came in and said, "blah blah that wasnt a coffee stain it was blah blah." They refused to talk about the donation and only wanted to talk about the coffee stain.

Marshall was nothing more than a background detail. If you want to stay here and talk about the donation you are welcome to. however, I am going to ask you to stop talking about irrelevant background details. In its own thread it could be very relevant, but not here.

Also I didnt insult Marshall. I just stated a certain fact. Like saying, "kabul is in Afghanistan." If you find it insulting that is due to your own low opinion of Marshall. I think Marshall is a fine school for certain people under certain circumstances.

Now I am going to have to ask the anti-WVU and pro-Marshall crowd to leave or stay on topic.

It's interesting that you called your own passing comment irrelevant. I believe that says it all.

As for the donation, good for WVU, every penny counts.
