1st though, I imagine they already know where they are putting it, hence the trailer park purchase and the trailer park clearing out. But the article lists Van Vorhis was on the application, did WVU buy up the land across from the gun shop and behind that medical building? If they end up putting it there and not where the trailer park is, wonder what their plan for that property is, maybe another parking garage in the future to?
2nd, why do they need an exemption and a certificate of need from the state health care authority, seems dumb to need permission to build a parking garage (seems like something the state should change to make the state a little more efficient).

I would bet the Van Voorhis location is an expansion of the Mountaineer Station garage. I think March-Westin or Paradigm already had some preliminary drawings for the expansion when the garage was first built.

I've seen those drawings. It would make a lot of sense to expand that garage to the left like the drawings show. Its just a wasted hillside right now and I will never understand why they didn't just build it with the full garage in the first place.

Is the trailer park actually being cleared? If so that's awesome, yet LONG overdue.
