Well, maybe you thought it was funny? The humor somehow passed me by, but thanks for the critique. I'll file that right away under whogivesacrap. It's hard to imagine somebody giving a response like yours here, but it is heartening you are into flippant, lame attempts at being jocular comments.

elewis, I don't have time for your ignorant, socialistic limiting comments. I want to know when the 6th Sheetz will open. I'm also starting a petition to demand that the US census include number of sheetz per square mile when evaluating an entity. I'm honestly quite insulted that Charleston has not even LAUNCHED A REVIEW of the capitol location and begun to consider Motown because we now have the very fancy roundabout, multiple tudors and 5 goddamned sheetz?! Why is it even in question?! In fact, I'm wondering why Virginia is not beating down the door asking to rejoin just so they can get on that sheetz gravy train!

FINALLY!! Someone else gets it. I wish we could redesign the Star City bridge to accommodate a Sheetz at its apex... at the very least, get some pumps and a Schmuffin vending machine. These tacky stores are the hallmarks of a world-class truck stop, er, I mean, city.

I'm really hoping you tone it down a bit here. You're obviously new to the forum, and not used to the protocol here, but your post above is a bit over the top. Our main purpose is to keep folks informed about happenings around our cities, and provide information to outsiders who might be interested in visiting or relocating to them.

Oh CT, we're just having a bit of fun. If we can't laugh about it, what can we do?

I hate the thought of another sheetz in this town. Not sure why they are so crowded because their food is horrible. The lot from the old Chevy dealer has a lot if potential and it would be a Shane to stick a gas station there.
