Where did you guys hear about ulta backing out? Last time i saw the ulta sign it had fallen over and was severely faded. Also regarding Carrabbas, it wasn't just us they back out of, it was all future expansion, one of their execs somewhere made the comment about stopping all future expansion for now due to the current trend to eat healthier.
I don't remember exactly if I read it or heard it in conversation but what I was told is that Ulta backed out of Morgantown and decided to go to Bridgeport which is also booming with construction in White Oaks and Charles Point. I know TGI Fridays just agreed to build in White Oaks so that will be a nice addition when we go visit the wife's parents.
Ulta Beauty will be in the Meadowbrook mail. As for five below, the sign on the road was still missing as of last week but a banner was up facing the parking lot of Dick's that read "Five Below Coming Soon" Maybe they are still planning to open.
I just talked with a representative from Ulta, and they said they are still building their store right next to the furniture store, they do not have an official open date in mind yet but they said without a doubt they are currently building their store in morgantown. In fact if you drive up to UTC, you can see the stucco work currently being done to their store.

You heard it here first...Kirkland's, AC Moore, 5 Below and Ulta are going to be the big companies coming in there to that little section being built. Kirkland's, I have a feeling, is going to be a huge business.
My sister will be happy with Kirkland's. They left the state a few years back. Wish they would get a home goods. hopefully any new restaurants will be one's not already not in the area.
if we ever do get a Costco it will probably be in a new upscale shopping center. i believe eventually there will be 1-3 located in the state. one somewhere in north central West Virginia, one in eastern panhandle, and one in the Charleston, Huntington area. how long who knows. we are always last to get anything.
