Just curious if anyone knows what is being done with the building that housed the High Life Lounge on Brockway Ave next to that car shop. I cannot tell what is happening and have heard no ramblings about this location.

It is my understanding that it's going to be another laundromat, unfortunately.

Does South Park/Greenmont need a laundromat? If so, I'm alright with it. I don't know the community over there well enough to know one way or another.

There is already a Laundromat three blocks from that site and I've never seen more than two people there at once. With all the work they're putting into that building, and with the potential that that parcel holds, I think it's an incredible waste.

Perhaps they can have the first Laudryz/Sheetz combo! Imagine...the catch phrases...Get your Subz while you wash your Dudz!

Disappointing to hear this. An original local business of some type, whether food or otherwise would have been muh more desirable.
