Plans are being made for 4 new Marcellus wellheads in Mon County. It would appear Senator Beach will be doing just fine with this latest development, since 2 of the 4 will use his land for the wellheads. In addition to getting thousands for each acre on his farm to lease the gas rights, and 18% royalties on anything taken out of the ground, each wellhead pays something like $350 per day for land usage. One might way that is a right tidy sum.

I believe this is the same company that will be building a regional headquarters in the Pierpont area near Morgantown.
