There are two brew pubs that have been established in Morgantown or some time, both of which enjoy robust sales... Morgantown Brewing Company (with locally brewed beer), and Mountain State Brewery (beer brewed in Thomas but that company operated a full service brew pub and restaurant in the Morgantown's Wharf District). The newest addition to the craft brew scene in The University City, Chestnut Brew Works, has seen business expand with products being served in 11 local establishments on a regular basis. Also in the planning phase is the opening of a new brew pub.
